We’re always looking for like-minded volunteers to join our efforts! Here are several ways you can get involved:

Donate!
The simplest way to help our mission is to click that Donate button. Your donation is tax-deductible, and we use those funds to assist with our annual Costume Drive and other charitable works.
 

Costume Drive
Speaking of the Costume Drive, we accept brand-new, unopened costumes only. No used or hand-made costumes will be accepted. Costumes donated with a valid receipt of purchase may be tax-deductible. For more information, please reach out to us via our Contact Us page.
 

Member Organizations
One of the most direct ways to get involved is by joining one of our member organizations. A costume isn’t necessarily required, but each costuming organization is independent and has their own requirements for membership. If you represent a costuming group in Minnesota and would like to become a member organization, please reach out to us via our Contact Us page.
 

Non-Costume Volunteer
In addition to costumers, we often use non-costumed “handlers” to help with costumes and equipment, table staffing and taking photos for guests. This is a great way to get involved if you don’t have a costume or prefer not to get into character!
 

Committee Member
If you’d prefer to help behind the scenes, you can join our Operations, Outreach, Marketing or Finance committees. These committees answer to the Board of Directors and help us grow within our community, set up and schedule events and get the word out!
 

Board of Directors
If you’d like to join on a decision-making level, Board of Directors elections are held at our quarterly meeting each October. Board seats are held for two year periods, and our board meets once a quarter. Each board member is required to join at least one committee.
